| Cryosurgery \ CRY-AC Units | Repair Information
| The repair of units that aren't working solely because they have clogged tips will be charged a fee by the manufacturer, even if they are otherwise under warranty.
Clogged units are not covered under the warranty because the machines are not actually damaged and are instead the result of nitrogen contamination (considered "neglect" or "misuse" in the warranty).
Cleaning your tip and/or unit thoroughly (see below) should unclog the tip and solve the problem without having to send it in for repair and incurring the fee.
Cleaning Instructions
Remove the tip and clean the opening with a needle. You may also bang the tip gently on a table or counter to dislodge any foreign matter.
If there is no tip, make sure the opening is clean. You may use a needle to do this. Then check the Liquid Nitrogen supply for contaminants that can clog the tips and unit. (See Section 3, Liquid Nitrogen, paragraph 2, of your Owner's Manual for more information on keeping the Liquid Nitrogen supply clean.)
