| Cryosurgery \ CRY-AC Units | Troubleshooting
| Problem
The Cryosurgical unit does not spary or sprays only intermittently.
Solution
The Spray Tip may be clogged. Remove the tip and clean the opening with a needle. You may also bang the tip gently on a table or counter to dislodge any foreign matter.
If there is no tip, make sure the opening is clean. You may use a needle to do this. Then check the Liquid Nitrogen supply for contaminants that can clog the tips and unit. (See Section 3, Liquid Nitrogen, paragraph 2, of your Owner's Manual for more information on keeping the Liquid Nitrogen supply clean.)
Problem
Tigger Handle sticks open.
Solution
The Valve Stem may be contaminated or bent. Depressurize the unit immediately by unscrewing the top a quarter to one half turn.
Lubricate the valve stem as detailed in Section 5, Maintenance, of your Owner's Manual. If the problem persists return the unit for repair immediately.
Problem
Exterior of Bottle frosts over and there is excessive Relief Valve activity (hissing).
Solution
The vacuum inside the bottle has deteriorated due to age or the bottle has been damaged. You must replace the bottle. Return the complete Cryosurgical Unit to an Authorized Repair Center.
Problem
Unit does not pressurize - Blue Collar may have worked itself loose.
Solution
Empty out any Liquid Nitrogen in the bottle. Screw the Blue Collar down as tightly as possible. |
