Cryosurgery \ FrigiSpray Unit

FAQ

1. What if my FrigiSpray® unit freezes up on top?

This could be due to overfilling, causing the joints to freeze. Check your unit to see if the level of liquid nitrogen is so high that it contacts the spray assembly. This also may be from operating the FrigiSpray® in a humid environment. The humidity in the air will condense on the tip and work its way toward the base of the turret. Set the unit aside and allow the joint to thaw before using again.

2. What if my FrigiSpray® unit won't spray?

This could be due to a clogged tip. To check the tip, remove it from the turret assembly, point the FrigiSpray® away from you, and spray. If the unit still will not spray, the clog is located in the turret assembly. Send the unit in to Delasco for maintenance. If the unit does spray without the tip, the clog is located in the tip. To clean out the tip, use a canister of pressurized canned air or similar source of high pressure dry air to blow air through the tip to dislodge the blockage.
