Tissue Temperature Monitor
The Tissue Temperature Monitor allows the surgeon to determine the destructive extent of the cryogenic lesions by implanting Thermocouple Needles within the tissue and preferably at the marginal areas of the tissue to be destroyed. The Thermocouple Needles sense temperature at the proximal end of the needle bevel.
Thermocouple Needles and wire leads may be sterilized by the following methods: steam autoclaving, ethylene oxide or cold sterilization procedures.
