Cross-Polarized, Color-Based Imaging.
The DermLite II Multi-Spectral paves the way for the detection of both groups of common skin cancers – pigmented lesions such as melanoma, and non-pigmented lesions such as basal and squamous cell carcinoma.
DermLite II Multi-Spectral provides instant color control over lesion visualization; ranging from white light epiluminescence, surface pigmentation using blue light, superficial vascularity under yellow light, to the deeper pigmentation and vascularity with the deeper-penetrating red light frequency.
With its fixed cross-polarization system, powerful lithium-ion rechargeable battery, 10x magnification and 32 bright-white light emitting diodes (LEDs) – eight per color – DermLite II Multi-Spectral is the most innovative and accessible color-based dermoscopy tool to date for advanced skin cancer imaging.
No-Contact Imaging or Immersion Epiluminescence.
DermLite II Multi-Spectral gives you the choice between free-floating “dry” skin imaging and oil immersion epiluminescence, at any color. Finally, you have the all-in-one tool for imaging vascularity without contact, or dry, overly scaly lesions with immersion fluids. Moreover, it is easier than ever to record what you see. Simply attach your camera via the built-in threaded connection. Additionally, a retractable spacer with removable glass faceplate and 10mm scale makes digital skin imaging easier than ever.

It threads directly on the Nikon CoolPix (models 950, 990, 995, and 4500), Konica Minolta Dimage Z10, and Pentax Optio MX4. Other cameras (including the Nikon CoolPix 4300) may require an adapter. Unfortunately, Nikon does NOT make an adapter for the Nikon Coolpix L5. Please ask us about the availability and cost of other adapters.
Unit comes with four common international plug ends including a 220v version. Each plug end simply snaps in place. CE Marked. Unit itself has a 5 year warranty and the rechargeable battery has a 1 year warranty.
