Dermatoscopy Score Calculator™
A handy aid to help you quickly calculate a lesion's Total Dermatoscopy Score (TDS) using the ABCD Rule. Recommended reference for the ABCD Rule is the Color Atlas of Dermatoscopy by Stolz.
Instructions for using the Dermatoscopy Score Calculator:
The instructions are also printed prominently on the calculator itself.
Step 1: Move the slide to align the Asymmetry score with the number of Abrupt Borders. (Divide border into 8 segments, evaluate each for abrupt pigment cutoff.)
Step 2: Add the Colors and Components present in the lesion.
Step 3: Without moving the slide, read the Score opposite the Total Colors & Components (total of Step 2).
Step 4: See Total Dermatoscopy Score (TDS). Results based on score.
