With high-resolution precision optics and an exclusive illumination system (patent pending), the Heine Delta 20 Dermatoscope is the ultimate tool in the examination of pigmented skin lesions and provides a significant diagnostic contribution in the early detection of malignant melanoma.
The unique achromatic lens system reveals tiny variations in the pigment net and other features of lesions at 10x magnification as a highly-detailed, undistorted image. High-resolution digital photography is easy and affordable with the available photo adaptors (see below).
A further unique feature of the Heine Delta 20 Dermatoscope is the ability to select full illumination for a clear view of the whole area under examination with 6 LEDs or alternatively, lateral illumination using 3 LEDs to give improved contrast to enable identification of fine changes in the structure of the lesion.
Improves on the original Delta 10 dermatoscope by offering:- LED lighting – Exceptionally bright and virtually, unlimited working time.

Digital Camera Capability:- Adaptability to mount on the Nikon CoolPix 4500* / 990* / 995* digital cameras using the 958H Heine adapter which is listed below and sold separately.
- Adaptability to mount on the Nikon Coolpix 4300* digital camera using the 958H Heine adapter which is listed below and sold separately AND a UR-E4 adapter (36.5mm thread) which must be purchased separately from Nikon.
- Adaptability to mount on the Nikon Coolpix 5000* digital camera using the 958H Heine adapter which is listed below and sold separately AND a UR-E6 adapter which must be purchased separately from Nikon.
- Adaptability to mount on the Nikon Coolpix 8400* digital camera using the 958H Heine adapter which is listed below and sold separately AND a UR-E15 adapter which must be purchased separately from Nikon.
- If you are looking for a digital camera currently available that will work with the Delta 20, Heine recommends the Canon PowerShot A520. Requires 961H adapter from Delasco and either the LA-DC52F adapter from Canon or the 57990 adapter from Soligor.

Contact Plates- Large, 23mm diameter contact plate without scale is included for large field of view. (957H) A contact plate with measuring grid is also available. (956H)

Eyepiece- Can be focused exactly.
- Range of correction from -6 to +6 diaptors.
- Large, easy-to-adjust soft eyepiece for precise focusing.

Tether Cord- Adapter cord that attaches Delta 20 head to it's handle. Eliminates the awkwardness of leaving the handle attached to the Delta 20 head when being used on a digital camera. Approximately 6' long.
The Delta 20 is available in the same power sets as the original Delta 10: 2.5V C battery Handle Set, 3.5V Wall Recharger Handle Set, and 3.5V Handle with separate Recharger Base Set. If you already have a Delta 10 dermatoscope, the new Delta 20 head will fit on the original handle - no matter what power. A Delta 20 head is also available to fit a Welch Allyn handle.
