The TransLite Veinlite™ LED is a hand-held battery powered transillumination device for visualizing veins and superficial blood vessels.
It utilizes the patented transillumination technique known as side-transillumination, which enables the Veinlite LED to uniformly illuminate a small region of skin and subcutaneous tissue without any areas of shadow.
The shadow-free side-transillumination technique allows better visualization of veins than any other transillumination method. The focused light creates a virtual light source under the skin that uniformly transilluminates the skin inside the ring light opening.
The Veinlite LED uses 24 dual color LED lights to illuminate veins. 12 orange LEDs for viewing superficial veins and 12 red LEDs for viewing deeper veins. The red and orange LEDS may be used together or separately by using either the red or orange switch.
This light weight device comes with a rechargeable battery and a universal charger with input from 110 volts to 240 volts. The universal charger comes with the standard US plug so customers from other countries will require a plug adapter.
The ring measures 21 mm at the inside of the widest part and 15 mm the narrowest part of the opening.
