The ConMed Hyfrecator 2000 is the latest model in a long line of Hyfrecator units. First introduced in 1939, the Hyfrecator name symbolizes quality and longevity.
The Hyfrecator 2000 features include:- Self Diagnostic Testing at Start Up - determines that the pencil, output power, LED's and safety monitoring circuits are in excellent working condition.
- Patient Plate Connection Port - a clearly labeled port for ease of use and eliminates the need to use the Bipolar port when using the patient plate (as was required for previous Hyfrecator models.)
- Output Power in Low Mode - 0 to 20 watts (with 0.1 watt increments from 0 to 10 and 1 watt increments from 10 to 20 watts).
- Output Power in High Mode - 0 to 35 watts in 1 watt increments.
- Output Power in Bipolar Mode - 0 to 35 watts in 1 watt increments.
(Note: Bipolar Mode requires the purchase of bipolar forceps, a forceps cord and a Hyfrecator 2000 footswitch.)
- Power Control - power can be increased or decreased on the pencil handle or by use of the rotary dial on the unit faceplate.
The Hyfrecator 2000 accepts all standard 3/32" shaft size electrodes. Standard warranty of one year parts and labor for unit and handle. Extended warranty on unit is also available for 5 years total (see information in box at time of purchase).
The Hyfrecator 2000 units comes supplied with one autoclavable reusable handswitching pencil; 100 Electrolase® disposable electrodes (1 box of 50 each - sharp and blunt); two sterile pencil sheaths; two non-sterile pencil sheaths; wall mounting kit; procedural video & an operator's manual.
220 volt is available for international customers.
