Designed to effeciently cut and coagulate tissue for a multitude of medical procedures. Also great for office based procedures, biopsies, skin tags/lesions, telangiactasisas, rhinophyma, blepharoplasty, flat lesions, seborrheic keratosis, cherry angiomas and excisions.
The Surgitron EMC utilizes the 3 distinct waveforms of the Radiolase (pictured above left to right): Fully Filtered Waveform for micro-smooth cutting,ideal for initial skin incision and for obtaining biopsy specimens; Fully Rectified Waveform ideal for subcutaneous tissue dissection and planing of soft tissue-especially useful in vascular areas; Partially Rectified Waveform designed for direct and indirect hemostasis techinques with both monopolar and biopolar coagulation.
The Surgitron EMC also has the additional waveform of Fulgruation which is designed for spark-generated current and is ideal for intentional destruction of diseased tissue.
The Surgitron EMC unit is the premier unit for radiosurgery. It features improved circuitry and RF filtering capability while maintaining the ultra high frequency performance pioneered by the original Surgitron FFPF.
The ultra high frequency output of the EMC minimizes lateral heat in tissue, resulting in rapid healing, excellent histological specimens, and a superior cosmetic result.
Specifications: 3.8 mHz, line voltage 110/120, alternating current 50/60 cycles, power output of 140 watts, 9 1/2lbs., 8" x 6.25" x 9".
Includes footswitch and cable, a foot controlled handpiece (accepts both 1/16" and 3/32" shafts), set of dermatology 1/16" disposable electrodes (15 - bent tip broad needle; 15 - 2.3mm ball; 5 - Vari-Tip wire; 5 - 1/4" round loop electrodes), coated grounding plate, handpiece clip (to attach to unit), operating manual and instructional video.
Footswitch activated. Fingerswitch is optional. ONE YEAR WARRANTY.
