| CLEARING OIL INFORMATION
DELASCO clearing oil is from Mineral oil, and provides
a refractive index similar to that of glass, and can be used
on dried smears, under a cover slip to make a temporary preparation
for microscopic examination. For permanent preparations,
use Synthetic Mounting Medium instead.
It may also be used as a microscope immersion oil. Clean
lens with alcohol after each use.
It may also be used as an inexpensive oil for epiluminesence,
with the Dermatoscope.
It is supplied in 1 oz and 2 oz glass dropper bottles.
