Product Details
Dermatophyte Test Media. Glass bottles with wide mouth tight closures for long shelf life. Antibiotics suppress bacterial growth. Turns red with growth of dermatophytes. No color changes with growth of saprophytes. 1 oz bottles with media on the slant. Available box of 10 or 20.
Every box of Delasco Fungal Culture Media also includes self-adhesive information labels. Biohazard labels must be ordered separately.
DTM does not require a MSDS due to it either being inherently non-toxic or is non-toxic in the form, concentration or quantity supplied by Delasco.
Important Note: Delasco Fungal Culture Media is perishable and as such, needs to be carefully inspected upon arrival as reports of any contamination must be made within 10 days of receipt. Water formation on the media indicates that the product has frozen in transit, not that the product is contaminated, however, freezing renders the product unusable and we do recommend shipping media by air during the winter months.

Freezable Information
DTM, DTM/TROY is/are susceptible to freezing and is altered significantly by cold temperatures. Risk of freezing is reduced, but not eliminated by using air service (if product can be shipped by air). Please note that the shipping of this product at this time is at your own risk. Delasco will not replace nor credit any product damaged or broken by freezing.
