Wright's Stain Information

Wright's stain is primarily used for staining peripheral blood smears. It would be especially good for doing eosinophil counts.

It is made from Certified Wright's stain, in methanol with glycerin.

For tzanck smears, we recommend Wright Giemsa Stain or PMS Fungal/Tzanck Stain.

It is supplied in plastic, drop dispensing 1 and 2 oz containers.
