For minimum Erythema Dose testing. More accurate than skin typing. Takes the guesswork out of phototherapy treatments. Med-Tester helps save treatment time, prevent overdosage by determining individual minimal erythema dose or minimum phototoxic dose.

Med-Testers are made from UV opaque polyester. Test begins with all exposure ports either open or closed, with ports being opened or closed during the test as measured intervals. Each piece has 6-8 exposure ports. Panels have Velcro straps to hold them in place. The large panel suitable for testing the lower back, has straps that will reach around larger patients.

Med-Testers are reusable. The manufacturer recommends cleaning them by hand in soap and water and hanging them to dry. Do not machine dry.
