Bruising results from trauma to the skin, and that includes cosmetic surgery. Photoaging brings increased tendency to bruise. Blood capillaries also change with aging and are more easily broken.
A study conducted by the manufacturer has demonstrated that a 1% cream is effective in speeding the resorption of subcutaneous blood. Further studies are ongoing.
