Bleomycin sulfate for injection, USP, is a mixture of cytotoix glycopeptide antibiotics isolated from a strain of Streptomyces verticillus. Generic. 15 units supplied in a sterile, 10 ml vial.
The Bleomycin for Injection, USP 15 units vial should be reconstituted and dissolved with 1 to 5 ml of Sterile Water for Injection, Sodium Chloride for Injection, 0.9%, USP or Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP.
The sterile powder is stable under refrigeration 2° C (36°F) to 8°C (46°F) and should not be used after the expiration date is reached. Bleomycin is stable for 24 hours at room temperature in sodium chloride.
Important Note: This product requires refrigeration immediately upon arrival. During warmer months, we do ship ice packs with this product to provide extra protection during air transit; however, please note the ice packs are not intended to stay frozen during transit and will have melted upon arrival. This is not an indication of spoiled product. Refrigerate product immediately upon arrival. During the winter months, ice packs are not included (to avoid freezing) but the product still requires refrigeration upon arrival. Due to the sensitive storage and transport status of this item, we do not recommend international shipment.
