Autoclavable, Non-Sterile. For conventional Lid Surgery.

These elongated shields, with their double radius -- the small radius creating a vault over the cornea -- are for lid surgery over living, healthy eyes. The edges and the posterior surface are highly polished. For the anterior surface, only highly polished finished is available.

Yellow shields allow light transmission for claustrophobia relief or for use with general anesthesia. Handle also allows for easier placement and removal of shield, but it does remain in place and may be in the way during surgery.

Shields have a life of 50-100 autoclave cycles.

Plastic, 1mm thin, yellow. NOT FOR LASER USE.
