The Atlas of Rhinoplasty depicts both open and endonasal approaches to rhinoplasty. Chapters have been logically arranged beginning with surgical anatomy and proceeding through the analysis of the most difficult problems and their sophisticated corrections. The latest surgical techniques are included and demonstrated in clear, step-by-step progressions.

Chapters focus on reliable, reproducible techniques for the transcolumellar approach, multiple tip techniques using the endonasal approach, and analysis and correction of the deviated nose. Three individual chapters provide specific suggestions for osteocartilaginous grafting to the dorsum, middle third of the nose, and nasal tip and columella.

Placement of grafts is clearly illustrated in clinical photographs and in drawings. Various methods are also described for correcting nasal tip problems based on specific alar cartilage deformities. The concluding chapter considers the most commonly encountered problems in secondary rhinoplasty with numerous illustrative case example presented.

Of the 51 clinical cases presented, each preoperative and postoperative photograph has comparable focal length, lighting and patient position for the most complete and accurate comparison of each case.

Intraoperative photographs, which are clarified by accompanying illustrations, indicate what, how much and where materials are removed or inserted. Numerous pre- and postoperative illustrations document the excellent results achieved with these methods.

Dr. Aiach's thoughtful explanations combined with the excellent operative sequences and artistic renderings that accompany each technical description assist readers of the Atlas of Rhinoplasty in understanding and mastering the nuances of these procedures.
