Personna Plus® Safety Scalpel
New, unique safety system from Personna includes a reusable metal handle and separate disposable safety blade cartridges mounted on handle. The handle comes with ruler imprinted on reverse side and will not work with any other disposable blades.
Safety blade cartridges consist of a Personna Plus blade within a clear plastic sheath which mounts onto the handle and locks in place. Remove the safety tab and pull the cartridge further back with your thumb to expose the blade. Cartridge can be opened and closed several times before disposing.
For disposal - just slide the cartridge forward over the blade until it clicks then push blade cartridge completely forward and off the handle to unload the blade.
The safety blade cartridges will only work with the Personna Safety handle and will not fit other standard scalpel handles.
