With the simplicity of one touch design all of your sterilization and drying needs are fulfilled. The Tuttnauer fully automatic autoclaves fill, sterilize, exhaust and dries at the touch of a button. All EZ models feature a closed door active drying system* to maintain sterility and ensure efficient drying of packs and pouches.
**The autoclave drying cycle is almost as important as the sterilization cycle. Instruments not intended for immediate use must be wrapped for storage and must remain sterile until they are introduced to the patient. Packs and pouches must be dry before they are removed from the autoclave so they can seal properly and maintain the sterility of the instruments. A problem may arise if packs are removed wet or damp, as moisture can "wick" contaminants through the packs and compromise the sterility of the instruments within. Wet packs are also more prone to tear or puncture.
EZ9 and EZ10 fully automatic steam sterilizers, both include a high efficiency air pump to circulate air in chamber during the drying cycle. 0.2 µm replaceable Hepa air filter. They both incorporate a control panel that is brighter and easier to read with program selection, system indicators and detailed digital display.
Overall dimensions of both units are 21.5" x 20" x 14.4" and both have a standard unwrapped cycles time of - Cold: 30 minutes; Hot: 20 minutes - and include an automatic shut off at the end of both the sterilization and dry cycles.
