Cimeosil Gels have been proven effective for the treatment of keloid and hypertrophic scars. Cimeosil is a viscous silicone preparation that forms a thin membrane on the skin.
Water repellant, air permeable, odorless, non-sticky and invisible within 10-15 minutes.
The patient massages a small amount into the scar and removes the excess with a tissue until the area is dry and no longer tacky. It is applied twice daily and may be covered with cosmetics after application.
