Economical model for use when primary dermabrader fails during a procedure or is temporarily out of service. Not recommended for long-term usage as a primary dermabrader.
Dermabrader with 1/6 hp, ball bearing motor features 66% more power than the old style MB-8. The MB-SR operates in forward and reverse at speeds up to 18,000 rpm and comes supplied with flexible shaft and sheath.
The foot control included in this motor-control combination is a solid state control in a heavy cast iron housing that is covered on the bottom surface with non-skid material.
Handpieces have prelubricated ball bearings and require no maintenance. Chuck guard slides back when changing fraizes. Accepts standard 3/32" medical fraizes and brushes.
Handle may be covered during procedure with sterile sheaths or penrose drains (cut to fit) or gas sterilized only (do not autoclave).
