Made of the specialty stainless steel wire, the DermaGlide needle is precisely tempered for hardness and tensile strength so it holds its fine edge pass after pass and glides exactly as guided by your hand.
The DermaGlide tip is a long-taper, precision-faceted diamond shape. Its four ultrasharp edges are formed using a grindless, proprietary process. DermaGlide is designed to easily penetrate highly elastic dermal tissue without tenting, drag, or unwanted cutting of the periphery.
DGL19 is equivalent to the Ethicon PS-2 and PC-5 needles. 19 mm, 3/8 circle, reverse cutting needle. Monofilament, non-absorbable. Blue. Available in 4-0 and 5-0. Box of 12.
