Four layer wound dressing. Permeable outer layer permits wound to breathe. Inner, absorbent layers hold large amounts of drainage and also drains away from the wound to reduce risk of infection and irritation. Inner layer is seven times more absorbent than gauze.
Anti-Shear Layer minimizes adherance by reducing friction and shearing. Wound contact layer allows epithelial migration.
Face Dressing indications: fresh burns, grafts, dermabrasions, face lifts, maxillo/mandibular surgery. Covers difficult-to-dress areas like the forehead, nose and chin.
