Unna-Pak consists of Primer® Unna Boot and Medi-Rip Self-Adherent Bandage and is for the ambulatory management of venous stasis leg ulcers, lymphatic edema, minor sprains, strains, fractures, thrombophlebitis and skin grafts on burn wounds.
It's a convenient system containing two high performance bandages that together form a two-layer Unna Boot.
Layer 1: Primer Modified Unna Boot
A gauze bandage that has been evenly impregnated with a non-hardening paste of zinc oxide. Contains no gelatin which prevents the hardening or caking of the bandage. Made without preservatives. Made on non-raveling threadlocked gauze. Packaged in a unique vacuum-sealed pouch. 10 yards.
Layer 2: Medi-Rip Self-Adherent Bandage
Flesh colored secondary dressing that is lightweight, strong and easy to apply. Self-adhering bandage so no clips or tape are required. 5 yards.
