Terms & Conditions

All sharpening and repair orders receive the highest priority, however, due to demand these services may take up to 2 weeks to complete. Actual ground service charges for domestic order will be added. Priority services are available at actual freight charges.

Please include a packing list with all the instruments listed, as well as your return shipping instructions (i.e. Next Day Air). Orders received without shipping instruction will be shipped via ground service.

To ensure safe delivery of your instruments, please pack them adequately in a box with appropriate packing material, i.e. bubble wrap, peanuts, or paper. Delasco cannot repair damage caused by inadequate packing. Most instruments are beyond repair if damaged in shipping.

Do

  • Use a sturdy box
  • Use packaging material (bubble wrap, peanuts, paper, etc.)
  • Include proof of sterilization. Leave sterilized instruments in sealed sterilization pouch with positive indication of sterilization.
  • Include RA# on outside of box and accompanying instruments to be serviced.
  • Ship via a traceable method with tracking numbers. Consider insurance in case of loss in transit.

Don't

  • Send in unclean or without proof of sterilization
  • Use an envelope. Envelopes can tear resulting in the loss of the instrument in-transit.
  • Omit packaging material. Loosely packed Instruments shipped without packaging material may penetrate the box posing a hazard to carriers or other personnel. Instruments may be damaged beyond repair as a result of in-transit motion and handling.

All surgical instruments must be sterilized and be contained in a sealed sterilization pouch with indication of a CDC-approved method of sterilization. Surgical instruments not receiving in a sealed pouch with positive indication of sterilization will be returned without processing at sender's expense.
