Protective Ocular Shields
Autoclavable, Non-Sterile. For conventional Lid Surgery.
These elongated shields, with their double radius -- the small radius creating a vault over the cornea -- are for lid surgery over living, healthy eyes. The edges and the posterior surface are highly polished. For the anterior surface, non-glare finish or highly polished is available.
Each shield includes a suction cup for easy removal. Suction cups can be sterilized in solutions, gas, or autoclaved. Plastic shields have a life of 50-100 autoclavings.
