Product Details

Grandma has been solving acne problems for years. Unlike most topical over-the-counter or prescription acne preparations that often contain harsh chemicals or dangerous drugs that can cause serious side effects, Grandma's goes straight to the heart of the problem by thoroughly removing impurities from deep within clogged pores where acne begins.

Our special formulation of pure natural soap with oatmeal addresses the unique challenges of acne.

Use Grandma's Acne Bar as your only soap (since other soaps can clog pores), showering in the morning, washing your face at 5pm and again at bedtime. Once the acne is under control, use for your morning shower and to wash your face at bedtime. Continue using this pure, natural soap as your only soap.

Acne may appear to worsen at first because this special soap is completely cleaning the pores and drawing out the impurities. Most see significant improvement in 3 or 4 days.

Available in normal and oily skin varieties.

Non-returnable.
History of Lye Soap

In the past, people made two kinds of lye soap at home; mild lye soap (like Grandma's) for bathing, and a stronger version for laundry. The stronger version is where all the lye soap jokes originated.

Lye is used in the making of all soaps. During the process of changing the oils into soap, called saponification, all of the lye is used up in the finished product. It is during the saponification process that natural glycerin is created. While most commercial soap manufacturers remove much of the glycerin from their products, Grandma's Lye Soap retains all of the natural glycerin. That's why our soap is pure soap and very good for your skin.

Cheaper soap is not better soap. Commercial soap manufacturers have found ways to reduce the cost of soap by adding sulfate detergents and other additives. While detergents are great cleansers they remove the natural oils from the skin and may cause your skin to be dry and itchy. Prevent detergent burned hands by using only our pure soap for hands and bath.
