For post operative ear lobe keloid treatment.
These specially designed Pressure Earrings feature two pressure plates attached to a self-adjusting clasp which exert a comfortable, even pressure on both sides of the ear lobe.
The pressure plates are approximately 5/8" in diameter (a little smaller than the size of a dime). The decorative part of the earrings (on all but PE-11/P and PE-12/P) are larger than the underlying pressure plates. Each style varies in size, but most are close to the size of a quarter.
The patient places the earring on the lobe and gently squeezes to activate the pressure between the plates.
The Pressure Earrings have a heavy 24K Gold Plating for lasting durability. The special Hypo-Allergenic coating is then applied and heat cured as a final protection for the patient.
A variety of earrings are available to provide fashionable alternatives for differing tastes. However, the size of the pressure plates is the same for all earrings except the PE-13/P (1/2" x 5/8") and PE-14/P (3/4" x 5/8"). For male patients or continued nighttime treatment, we suggest using PE-11/P or PE-12/P.
Available in two sizes for average and thick lobes. The space between the pressure plates on average lobe earring is 1/8". The thick lobe earrings have 1/4" space between the two pressure plates for naturally thicker ear lobes.
