For post operative ear lobe keloid treatment.
These specially designed Pressure Earrings feature two pressure plates attached to a self-adjusting clasp which exert a comfortable, even pressure on both sides of the ear lobe.
The pressure plates are approximately 5/8" in diameter (a little smaller than the size of a dime). The decorative part of the earrings (on all but PE-11/P and PE-12/P) are larger than the underlying pressure plates. Each style varies in size, but most are close to the size of a quarter.
The patient places the earring on the lobe and gently squeezes to activate the pressure between the plates.
The Pressure Earrings have a heavy 24K Gold Plating for lasting durability. The special Hypo-Allergenic coating is then applied and heat cured as a final protection for the patient.
A variety of earrings are available to provide fashionable alternatives for differing tastes. However, the size of the pressure plates is the same for all earrings except the PE-13/P (1/2" x 5/8") and PE-14/P (3/4" x 5/8"). For male patients or continued nighttime treatment, we suggest using PE-11/P or PE-12/P.
Available in two sizes for average and thick lobes. The thick lobe size is suggested if using earring with silicone gel. The space between the pressure plates on average lobe earring is 1/8". The thick lobe earrings have 1/4" space between the two pressure plates for naturally thicker ear lobes.
PE-1/P has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
