This heavy-duty, high performance portable Galvanic Generator is equipped with a dual meter scale (0-10, 0-50 milliamperes), "autosense" antisurge circuitry, and sufficient output for the most demanding Galvanic applications.
As an iontophoresis unit, the MD-1 offers an effective modality for the treatment of hyperhidrosis of the palms and soles by using the optional tray set. Its high output level makes it particularly suitable for severe cases.
Powered by regular AC line voltage, this unit produces filtered Galvanic current (DC) in two ranges that can be applied with standard wet-pad electrodes for the treatment of the axillae (underarms) or optional waterbath tray set for treatment of the hands or feet.
A built-in current sensor that shuts off output under no-load conditions and linear ramping of current helps reduce faradic sensations.
The MD-1 unit comes with dual cord and two 3" x 6" wet pads. The wet pads are not sterilizable. The sponge inserts (805) can be removed and cleaned with soap and water and then air dried. Place rough side of insert directly on area to be treated.
220 volt is available for international customers.
