A precision instrument that improves vision and increases efficiency. The OptiVISOR is made of lightweight, durable, impact-resistant material. Its adjustable design allows it to be worn for extended periods without causing discomfort.
The model DA continuous headband may be adjusted for fit by simply turning a knob at the back. The adjustable pivot assembly on either side of the visor should be tightened to hold the visor in any position it is placed. If at any time the tension nut is backed off too far or disassembled, make certain that the square on the bearing plate fits the square on the tension screw when retightening.
The OptiVISOR should be worn square on the head with the lens divider centered before the bridge of the nose.
How To Care For The OptiVISOR
The OptiVISOR lenses are ground an polished to precision ophthalmic standards. They are made of optical glass of the highest quality obtainable. The lenses should be kept clean by wiping them with a clean soft cloth or lens-wiping tissue or they may be washed in soap and water. Caution should be used to avoid rubbing or hitting them against hard abrasive surfaces. The body of the OptiVISOR may be cleaned with soap or detergent without effect. Avoid hard chemicals or solvents which may attack or stain the surface.
Focal Distance Of The OptiVISOR
The optical components of the OptiVISOR consist of equally ground prismatic lenses which assist the eyes to converge at a given focal distance. This focal distance depends on the power of the particular lens plate being used in the instrument. Each lens plate is marked with the diopter power of the lenses it carries. The following list designates the approximate focal length of the various lens plates.
DA-SET/P includes one OptiVISOR, one of each magnification lens plate (2, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 10), one VisorLIGHT, one OptiLOUPE and a customized, impact resistant, storage case. Special order item, therefore it cannot be canceled once the order has been placed and is non-returnable after it has been received.
