Skin Care \ Aesthetica "K" Mend Skin Vitamin K Cream
Photo-aging is the formal name for the damage the skin endures through the years of exposure to the sun's harmful UV rays. In addition to the visible surface damage that results, this long term exposure can produce a weakening in the walls of the blood vessels throughout the skin. The result? A tendency to bruise easily and the presence of small spider veins in the skin.
Vitamin K has a significant history in medicine as a clotting agent. Additionally, for over twenty years, plastic surgeons have used vitamin K in oral form to aid in reducing unsightly bruising often present following cosmetic surgery.
Now there is a topical cream containing vitamin K. Individuals with spider veins and broken capillaries in facial areas may note improvement using the cream over a 6 to 8 week application period.
Mend Skin Vitamin K Cream is designed to be used on damaged skin two weeks prior to cosmetic surgery and may be used for post-op care on bruised areas.
Directions:
Apply on moist skin twice daily to superficial spider veins or bruises.
