Skin Recovery Lotion is a technologically advanced formulation. It contains Vitamin E Acetate, 0.5% (so not irritating) Salicylic Acid, Peruvian Balsam Extract, Aloe Vera, Chamomile and other botanicals to rejuvenate, restore and heal aging, sun damaged skin.
This formula is based on the theory that d-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) and Salicylic Acid, together in a certain ratio, creates keratoplastic activity. This activity increases fibroblastic motility, which encourages more rapid production of tropocollagen and collagen.
The process enables increased cellular turnover. With production of new skin cells, in conjunction with the excellent anti-oxidant activity of d-alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, the Skin Recovery Lotion promotes the healing, restoration and rejuvenation of the skin.
The Benzyl Cinnamate and Aldehyde C-16 are derived from Peruvian Balsam (a widely known healing agent) that utilizes the principles of healing to improve and benefit mature, aging and damaged skin.
The Skin Recovery Lotion allows for the application of emollients and healing ingredients that aid in a gentle, speedy recovery of the substrate (skin). This lotion restores the skin's moisture, which has been lost due to collagen depletion, moisture barrier breakdown and environmental stress. It also replenishes vital moisture to nourish the damaged epidermis.
This lotion is also ideal for use after microdermabrasion, laser surgery and aggressive peels.
