Ultraviolet B (UVB) therapy prescribed for home phototherapy treatment of psoriasis. The unit is shipped with 75 treatment sessions automatically preprogrammed into the Controlled Prescription Timer.
When five sessions remain, a blinking light indicating "Call Your Doctor" appears on the timer along with a code number. The unit becomes inoperative unless the patient contacts their doctor's office. When the patient calls, the doctor may either choose to schedule an appointment for assessment, or provide a reactivation code to continue treatment. That's why we call the Panosol II "physician-guided" home phototherapy. Renewal options are 75, 150, 250 or an unlimited number of treatments.- Fail-safe feature disables unit in the event of a malfunction

The manufacturer estimates a 200 - 250 hour lifespan on the lamps. Warranty does not include lamps.
Narrow Band (UVBNB)
Narrow band therapy utilizies UVB energy in the 311 to 313 nm range. Diagnoses responsive to this type of therapy include psoriasis, vitiligo, CTCL (mycosis fungoides) and atopic dermatitis, to name a few. Consult your physician for further information on narrow band UVB therapy.
Shipping Note: All Panosol II Units are shipped via common carrier. The carrier will deliver directly to your home and is responsible for removing the unit from the truck and taking it through the front door ONLY. Specific package inspection procedures are mailed prior to delivery and must be carefully followed before accepting the package from deliverer.
