Delasco, recently moved our headquarters to Plano. We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator’s role to ensure the stable operation of the in-house and cloud computer infrastructure. This includes planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all systems hardware, software, and communication links. This position will also directly support end users, in conjunction with the help desk support team.


The IT Systems Administrator collaborates with all department leaders to continuously improve the effectiveness of Delasco’s IT systems, to meet internal and external customer expectations. The IT Administrator lives the core values by example for all team members and business partners.


This Role Will Be Responsible For…

• Coordinate with related teams and external partners to ensure IT systems are functioning efficiently and meeting internal and external customer demands.
• Coordinate the on-boarding, orientation, and off-boarding of Delasco team members re: IT systems.
• Test, troubleshoot, and adjust information systems to operate effectively.
• Ensure a stable, safe, and up-to-date ERP system.
• Oversee daily operations of network and server infrastructure.
• Manage, train, communicate with, and monitor MSP vendors.
• Document, implement, and maintain all company’s computing systems, related applications, hardware, and software used within the company.
• Recommend and purchase new and replacement hardware and software as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, including Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing to identify, explain, and communicate their project involvement, project goals and expectations.

 

The Idea of a Perfect Candidate Is Someone With…

• A minimum of four years Microsoft SQL Server experience with progressive levels of responsibility.
• Expert knowledge of ERP project management and IT functions.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP is strongly preferred.
• Ability to supervise, support, and motivate team members for high performance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, leadership, and management skills.
• Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and identify problems quickly with strong solving problem skills.
• Ability to deliver results on target deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows software, including Server, Office, and Exchange.
• Experience coordinating IT systems installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in computer hardware, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
• Strong knowledge of the industry’s best practices and technical management Ability to organize and prioritize projects, duties and responsibilities of self and others.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Systems, Computer Science, or similar field is required.
