Position Overview

Delasco is searching for a engaging, proactive Human Resources Manager who is responsible for designing, developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs and effectively managing all aspects of the Human Resource function. This Role Will Be Responsible For… 
• Oversees and manages the organization’s hiring and staffing efforts by developing and implementing a recruiting, testing, interview and selection process.  Works with the hiring manager to obtain the competencies to hire A players
• Develops and administers reward and recognition programs. Identifies, evaluates and resolves human relations and team member work performance issues to facilitate and improve employee morale, productivity and the organization’s overall culture, while ensuring legal compliance to applicable federal and state requirements.   
• Manages and oversees the organization’s team member benefit programs. Conducts benefits training and administers team member benefit eligibility and enrollment process. 
• Trains managers to coach team members, conducts investigations, documents and maintains records, resolves team member issues, counsels and advises team members and supervisors on policies and procedures and makes recommendations to management on human capital planning.  
• Establishes, maintains and manages the organization’s wage and salary structure and pay policies ensuring compliance to government regulations and adherence to organizational policies, procedures and market trends.  
• Manages and oversees the organization’s team member benefit programs. Conducts benefits training and administers team member benefit eligibility and enrollment process. 
• Administers Payroll through Paylocity to include bi-weekly payroll, set-up of new employees, change requests, timekeeping, and annual reporting. (5%)
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.

• Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, employee engagement, and employee training and development.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows including, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
• Ability to read, write, interpret and speak the English language.
• Ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team and provide leadership and direction.
• Ability to present information both individually and in a group setting.
• Ability to practice and coach organization managers.
• Ability to organize, execute, and prioritize projects, duties and responsibilities of self and others.
• Ability to express oneself in a clear, concise, and professional manner in conversations and interactions with others and in written communications.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or other related field of study. Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources and 5 years previous management experience is required.  Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.  SPHR or PHR Certification, preferred.
