The Light Modified Jessner's Peel is the most accessible and broadly suitable formula in our Jessner's family—combining the gentle concentration profile of our light series with the resorcinol-free formulation of our modified line. By pairing 7% salicylic acid and 7% lactic acid with 7% glycolic acid, this peel delivers effective, triple-acid surface exfoliation with the widest client suitability range and the most minimal post-treatment downtime of any Jessner's product we offer.
The three actives work in a complementary, synergistic fashion. Salicylic acid—an oil-loving BHA—helps clarify the look of congested skin and sweep away excess surface oil, visibly minimizing the appearance of impurities and enlarged pores. Lactic acid gently lifts away dull, dead cells at the skin's surface, encouraging a fresh, renewed look while visibly improving texture and tone, and supporting the skin's natural moisture balance. Glycolic acid works alongside lactic acid to enhance surface exfoliation and effectively clear the outermost layer of dead skin, allowing for optimal performance and absorption of follow-on products in the aesthetic protocol.
