Dermabond Advanced™
Provides a secure wound closure and a protective microbial barrier over the wound. Dermabond Advanced enhances wound closure when used in addition to sutures. It has been clinically shown to provide 7 days of wound holding strength in just minutes.
Though introduced for its use as skin closure device in operating and emergency room settings, it also acts as a protective layer over a sutured wound, and therefore increases wound protection following closure of surgical incisions. Dermabond Advanced forms its own protective barrier over the wound, eliminating the need for additional dressings. Therefore, when used with sutures, it was shown ex vivo to add 75% more strength to the wound closure than sutures alone. 0.7 ml applicator. Box of 6.
