Frequently Asked Questions

Here is a list of the questions we are most often asked. If you can't find your answer here, please email us at questions@delasco.com and we'll gladly help you.

Q. How do I place an order?

A. If you know the item number(s) you want to buy, you can save time by using our handy Quick Order feature which is found directly below the Search. Simply enter them one at a time in the Quick Order field, along with the quantity you'd like. The product is automatically added to your cart without having to go to the product page.

You can also search or browse to find the products you'd like to buy. On every product page there is an Add to Cart button next to each item number. Click on that button to add the item to your cart.

If you would like to order more than one copy of an item, you can increase the quantity ordered when you reach the checkout. Simply change the number in the quantity field and then select Update Cart. The quantity will not be changed without clicking Update Cart.

At any time during your visit, you can review the contents of your order by clicking on the Shopping Cart tab at the top of the site. Once you have added all the products you'd like to purchase, click Check Out.

If you have ordered online from Delasco before, enter your email address and password.

If you haven't ordered online from Delasco before, you'll be asked to enter your billing address, your shipping address (if it's different than your billing address), your contact information, a purchase order if you have one and any additional comments.

Q. Why can't I see prices or order any products?

A. We allow everyone limited access to the Physician Catalog. If you are a licensed physician or authorized healthcare professional and would like to see product prices and/or order on the web site, you'll need to log in or register. We will ask for your medical license number or the medical license number of your supervising physician to ensure that you are authorized to purchase from us. Your privacy is extremely important. This information will not be sold or shared with anyone outside of Delasco.

If a Log in button appears on the product page instead of pricing and Add to Cart buttons, you'll need to log in or register. Click on the Log in button below the quantity box to get to the registration and log in page. You may also click on the Log In link in the top right hand corner of the page. Only licensed physicians and authorized healthcare professionals are allowed to see pricing and order from the Physician Catalog.

If you do not see product pricing or a Log in or Add to Cart button, you are likely registered as a consumer. You will need to contact Customer Service to change your catalog access.

Q. How do I pay?

A. We accept payment by credit card or check. If you are a physician (or you are ordering for a physician's office) and you have an existing account at Delasco, you may also choose to bill your account.

Assuming all the items you ordered are in stock, credit card and Delasco account orders will be shipped the same or next business day. Check orders will be shipped two weeks after we receive the check.

If you have a Delasco account, you may conveniently pay your invoices online.

Q. What is my password?

A. You may choose your own password. It is a combination of letters or numbers that is at least six characters long.

Q. What should I do if I forget my password?

A. If you forget your password, click here and enter the email address you used to register. An email containing a link to reset your password will be sent automatically.

For security reasons, this email can only be sent to the registered email address.

Q. My account is locked. What can I do to unlock it?

A. For security purposes, accounts are locked for 24 hours after five unsuccessful attempts to log-in to an account from the same computer. To unlock your account, you can wait 24 hours or email questions@delasco.com to request that your account be unlocked.

Q. How much does shipping cost?

A. You will select the shipping method you prefer during check out. Actual shipping and insurance costs for the chosen method are added for most shipments. Select items are able to ship postal for a reduced fee. See Terms for the complete list.

Certain products are also considered hazardous materials and an additional haz mat fee applies. (This will be noted on the product page.) The charge is $16.80 for ground shipments and $90.00 for air shipments. See Terms for more information.

Q. I'm trying to register but it's not working. What's wrong?

A. If you've gone through the registration process and are either returned to the registration page or still see the "Log-in" button on product pages, it is likely because of your computer's security settings. Please check your browser's security setting to make sure it will accept cookies. If that is not the problem, you might be running a security enhancement application that is denying the cookies. Either one of those will prevent you from actually registering or logging-in to the site. Please adjust those settings and try again.

Q. What does it mean when a product is Special Order/Non-Returnable?

A. A special order item is not one we normally stock. We will gladly order it for you, but you will not be able to cancel your order once we have ordered the product for you. We will also not accept special order products for return.

Q. What is required to be able to order from the Physician Catalog?

A. Physicians and Medical Facilities:
A valid medical license is required. You will be asked to supply the number in the checkout process. Verification may require a faxed copy of your license (varies by state). You will be contacted if we need additional verification information.

Hospitals and US Government Facilities:
Independent verification will be conducted. If additional information is required, you will be contacted within one business day.

International physicians and facilities:
If your country issues medical license numbers, please supply the number during the checkout process. If your country issues medical identification papers, please fax us a copy after placing your order. Independent verification will be conducted. If additional information is required, you will be contacted within one business day.

Pharmacies:
State wholesale or pharmacy board license required. Please fax us a copy after placing your order.

Q. How do I get from the Physician Catalog to the Consumer Catalog?

A. The Delasco web site is divided into three catalogs. The Physician Catalog is for physicians & healthcare professionals and offers products that are restricted for sale only to licensed physicians. The MedSpa Catalog offers specialized products to spa professionals at physician prices. The Consumer Catalog offers products for personal use by patients & consumers. In order to go from one catalog to the other hold the cursor over the Delasco logo in the top left hand corner of any page. A drop down box will appear showing the covers of the other catalogs you are able to view.
